CocoMaterial

WEBSITE  CocoMaterial

AUDIENCE ↬ teachers & students

CONTENT ↬ any/all

GRADE LEVELS  all grades

Clipart is a great way to allow students to include images in their work ... but often its tough for students to draw or create the art on a device. CocoMaterial provides exactly what teachers and students need. I'm no artist, but with CocoMaterial, I can search and find what appears to be hand drawn work that I have the ability to download and use in work. Yay!

AND ... no account is necessary! Students can use this, too!

HOW CAN TEACHERS USE THIS RESOURCE?
I can see teachers using CocoMaterial to "spice up" their own presentations or lessons, but even more than that, I can see teachers allowing students to browse CocoMaterial and pull from their more than 2,500 images to add visual interest to the work they are creating.

I'm a puzzle

WEBSITE  I'm a puzzle

AUDIENCE ↬ teachers & students

CONTENT ↬ any/all

GRADE LEVELS  any/all - **Caution** It does have a decent number of ads on its site; some school filters might block it.

I have been looking for this kind of a resource for a SUPER long time and honestly didn't think it existed! I'm pretty pumped! You can use images they already have or you can import your own. There are multiple different kinds of designs for your pieces, as well being able to vary the level of difficulty and type of puzzle. So fun!

Remove Photos Background? Yes, please ... times 3!

WEBSITE  https://www.remove.bg/
AUDIENCE ↬ students & teachers
CONTENT ↬ not content specific

GRADE LEVELS  ALL!

Have a photo & wish you could strip the background off? Have you ever wished you had a really good pair of digital "scissors" and gotten frustrated?

Say good-bye to frustration & hello to remove.bg. The easiest, quickest, and most amazing website that does this for you. It's simple!

The one and only drawback ... it works with photos of humans. Not animals.

But I've got something for you for non-human photos!

Check out LunaPic! I suggest using the Magic Wand tool. It allows you to have more control over what you cut out. Not ideal for younger students, but it's possible.

Not quite as simple, but definitely doable!

UPDATE & New tool!!!! (March 6, 2019)

Thanks to Tony Vincent, I've got a 3rd tool to share! I like this one almost as much as remove.bg! It allows a bit more control over what stays & what goes, but it's not as specific as lunapic.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of these 3!!!
