Recently, a teacher asked about a good online dictionary for her students. She didn't want to just send them off to "Google" words they were investigating. Considering their age - 3rd graders - I totally agree.
I did a little investigation and came across this little gem! It's not "just" a dictionary ... there are games, a section for educators, a thesaurus, and more. Do yourself a favor and check this out. And then share it with your students and colleagues!
Unfortunately, the games still require Flash.
